Xandeum’s pNode Dutch Auction launches September 6, 2025, offering 49 Deep South Era pNodes to power our decentralized storage layer on Solana and beyond! Each pNode includes an NFT multiplier to amplify your Storage Income (STOINC), making this a pivotal moment to join the Xandeum Network. As CEO Bernie Blume shared in his latest YouTube video (Episode 395), you—the pNode operators—are Xandeum, literally driving the network and Web3 innovation. Running a pNode not only provides monthly rewards to compensate for hosting efforts but also unlocks long-term STOINC that could potentially reach seven figures annually—or even monthly—for highly successful operators (no financial advice, of course). This auction serves as a key fundraising mechanism for the Xandeum Foundation to fuel ongoing development. Xandeum is a multi-chain storage layer for smart contracts, scalable to exabytes and more, offloading data from validators to pNodes. With Munich’s milestone behind us and Herrenberg on the horizon, here’s how to seize this opportunity where “dApps thrive”!

Munich Release: A Groundbreaking Foundation

The Munich release, our first South Era milestone, introduced a working pNode prototype for file hosting on Xandeum’s storage layer—a monumental achievement! This capability, built on Solana’s high-speed consensus and erasure coding, supports data-intensive dApps like decentralized YouTube or Dropbox alternatives. The updated XandMiner GUI, powered by Xandeum Pod software, now offers stats on pNode performance and network health, simplifying management and proving our smart contract-native storage’s potential. Currently, we have around 300 pNodes in the devnet, with 147 upgraded to the Munich version—we need just 150 to officially launch the Munich release, so if you're running a pNode, upgrade soon!

pNode Dutch Auction: Act Fast for Maximum Rewards

Our Dutch Auction, starting September 6, 2025, releases 49 Deep South Era pNodes, each bundled with an NFT to boost your STOINC, as detailed in our STOINC blog post. STOINC income depends on pNodes owned, storage provided (in GB), performance score (0-1, measured by the network), and staked XAND, calculated every epoch (~2 days). If any factor is zero in an epoch, no rewards are earned. StorageCredits are boosted by NFT factors (using a geometric mean for multiple pNodes), and final STOINC draws from 94% of sedApp fees (with 3% to the XAND DAO and 3% to preferred investors). pNode operators also earn 10,000 locked XAND monthly from the Foundation for running nodes.

The auction is a Dutch-style format where prices decrease from a ceiling over 48 hours, dropping every hour—it's like a game of chicken: bid early for higher multipliers at higher prices, or wait for lower prices but risk sell-out, as anyone (including whales) can buy multiple. While this may seem counter to decentralization, our priority now is fundraising for development; later, as we approach mainnet, measures like redistributing stake will ensure decentralization.

Pricing starts at $4,900 USDC + 490,000 XAND for a Titan NFT (11x multiplier) in the first two hours, decreasing over time.

  • Titan NFT (hours 0-1): 11x multiplier

  • Dragon NFT (hours 2-11): 4x multiplier

  • Coyote NFT (hours 12-23): 2.5x multiplier

  • Rabbit NFT (hours 24-35): 1.5x multiplier

  • Cricket NFT (hours 36-47): 1.1x multiplier

  • After hour 47: No NFT (1x multiplier)

For full pricing details and intervals, check Bernie's Episode 394 video. Bid early for higher multipliers, as pNodes may sell out fast—whales could snap them up! If you have XAND staked in the DAO, note the 30-day unstaking period, so plan ahead. Calculate your potential earnings at Xandeum.network/stoinc and join early to maximize income!

Dutch Decider: Vote on the Start Time for Fairness

With our global community spanning time zones from the US (all three), UK, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Spain, France, Nigeria, India, China, Japan, Korea, Philippines, and beyond, the exact start hour on September 6 (UTC) matters—especially for when your target price tier falls during the 48-hour auction. Use the DutchDecider app to vote on the start time (0:00 to 23:00 UTC) by pledging as little as 20 cents (or less) in USDC to one of 24 dedicated wallet addresses (one per hour). The app displays times in your local zone for convenience. Voting cutoff is September 5 at 0:00 UTC (24 hours before the earliest possible start), after which we snapshot the balances— the hour with the highest total pledges wins. All pledged funds go directly to the Xandeum Foundation for development. In case of a tie, we'll use a certified random generator to decide. Pledge small amounts early and monitor—it's worth a few cents to align the auction with your schedule and avoid sleeping through your ideal bidding window!

Herrenberg Release: Search Capabilities Ahead

We’re deep in development for the Herrenberg release, which will add crude search capabilities to our storage layer. This will enhance sedApp functionality, enabling developers to build applications with efficient data retrieval, from social platforms to research hubs. Herrenberg builds on Munich’s foundation, advancing our mission to solve the blockchain storage trilemma: scalability, smart contract integration, and random access.

A dApp to Transform LLMs

We’re crafting a revolutionary dApp on the Xandeum storage layer to redefine how Large Language Models (LLMs) operate. While details remain limited, this dApp will leverage our scalable, secure infrastructure to showcase Xandeum’s slogan: “Where dApps thrive.” It’s being developed alongside our storage layer to set a new standard for Web3 applications.

Xandeum.network Gets a Facelift

Lastly, Xandeum.network is getting a vibrant redesign! All content remains, but we’re enhancing the site’s look, feel, and branding to reflect Xandeum’s bold vision, making it easier to explore our ecosystem.
